Mission Statement.
Ensemble42 is an artist collective of professional musicians and amateur/semi-professional singers. We strive to perform at the highest level and use our talents to create a better world. We believe that music can be a very powerful tool to promote connection between individuals, cultures, and communities. It helps us to find meaning in our lives, and it brings joy. We aim to tie each program to a benefit action in the form of monetary donations to existing NGOs or attention to various environmental, medical, or social actions.
The concept of an artist collective is one of flexibility. The core group consists of professional singers and string players that perform in a variety of settings including a-cappella chamber choir, string orchestra, and chamber music groups. The amateur chamber choir Vox42 is the second branch of the organization. Both groups have the goal of bringing classical music at the highest level to their audiences, and to promote the benefits mentioned above.

The Ensemble42 Foundation is registered with the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration as a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI). This offers donors the advantage that donations are tax-deductible under the applicable regulations and that your donation goes entirely to the Ensemble42 Foundation.

The board members do not receive any compensation for their work. Only actual expenses are reimbursed.
